Several road closures are set to disrupt residents of Brent this month while major utility works are carried out, with streets in Willesden and Wembley scheduled to close for more than two months.
However, some roads are expected to reopen after being closed for many weeks. Abbey Road in Park Royal will reopen at the end of the month for the first time since it closed for water works in July. Wharton Close in Willesden will also reopen after a three month closure due to water works.
The Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS) has found all of the ongoing and planned road closures that are happening in January, according to one.network. Whilst some closures will only take place overnight, others will see roads shut for weeks or even months at a time.

The closures could cause traffic disruption for residents who may need to find an alternative route to get to their destination.
Other major road closures throughout the month include Crawford Avenue in Wembley, which is scheduled to close at the end of the month and not reopen until late March for essential water works. Broadfields Way in Willesden will also close and remain shut until March.
Below is a breakdown of all the road closures both ongoing and planned that will be in force throughout January and beyond. Residents should look out for diversion routes to avoid facing substantial disruption.
