A British man has pled not guilty to masturbating on an Emirates flight. Britto Lorence, from Middlesbrough, appeared in court accused of carrying out the sex act on a Dubai to Newcastle Emirates flight in June.
On Friday, the 27-year-old appeared at Newcastle Magistrates’ Court charged with one count of outraging public decency. Chronicle Live reports Lorence pleaded not guilty to the charge, which is alleged to have happened on June 2, 2025.
Holly Clegg, prosecuting, told the court the incident was allegedly committed on an Emirates flight that was heading to Newcastle Airport. Lorence will return to the court on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 6 for a trial.
Lorence spoke only to confirm his personal details and to plead not guilty to the charge he faces. He was granted unconditional bail until his next court appearance.
