Police and the family of a missing man – who may require urgent medical treatment after injuring his hand – are concerned for his welfare.

Barry Forrester was last seen leaving his home in Evesham, Worcestershire, at around 1.20am this morning, January 4.

Police say the 45-year-old sustained an injury to his hand and he may require urgent medical attention.

Mr Forrester, who has distinctive face tattoos, was described by officers as being around 5’9 tall.

He is of a slim build and has a shaved head.

Mr Forrester was last seen wearing light blue jeans, a dark jacket and a grey Adidas jumper.

Inspector Andrew Hodgetts of West Mercia Police said: “We believe Barry is still likely to be in the Evesham area.

“We are carrying out a number of searches locally.

“We, and his family, are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare given the injury to his hand and the cold conditions overnight.

“If you have seen Barry, we would advise not to approach him, but please contact police.”
