Our thoughts are with those who have lost a loved one
Richard Turner has died at the age of 84(Image: Funeral notices / Leicester Mercury)
A ‘beloved’ former fish and chip shop owner is among the lost loved ones commemorated in this week’s Leicester Mercury death notices. Elizabeth Mckenna, who died aged 87, is one of 18 people who have been fondly remembered by family and friends.
This week’s tributes honour those who have recently passed away, as well as those lost in previous weeks and months. Among them is 89-year-old Anthony Griggs, who was described as a “successful manager and owner of various pharmacy stores”.
Tributes have also been paid to Johnathon Allcock, an avid fisherman and devoted Nottingham Forest fan who died, aged 46.
Announcing the passing of a loved one in local news media is a long-standing tradition and we are proud of the trust placed in us to make these important announcements.
Each notice will remain online forever, providing a place for people to look back on and remember.
Every notice published to our newspaper and news site also appears on funeral-notices.co.uk – the UK’s No 1 site for death notices.
