Firefighters helped free a person from a vehicle after a crash in Stilllington. The collision on Morrison Street, in the village north west of Stockton, was reported at around 10.50am on Saturday, January 3.
One vehicle was involved and fire crews had to use a spinal board to extricate the casualty. Two appliances from Stockton Fire Station attended and crews remained at the scene until 11.49am.
The North East Ambulance Service and Cleveland Police also attended. In a post, Cleveland Fire Brigade said: “Road traffic collision involving one vehicle, one person trapped.
“Fire Brigade extricated one casualty from vehicle using spinal board and left in care of Ambulance. Fire Brigade made scene safe.”
The road towards Old Stillington was reportedly closed following the incident. Teesside Live has contacted the ambulance service for further details.
