A list of 20 locations where operational mobile speed cameras will be set up during January 2026 has been confirmed.

The list showing where the speed-monitoring vans may be found has been published by the Casualty Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST).

The locations include various areas from all across Derbyshire, including city roads in Derby, such as Max Road in Chaddesden and Warwick Avenue in Derby.

Wider county routes are included too, with roads in Glossop, Repton, Ripley and Wingerworth on the list.

CREST says it publicises the information in a bid to reduce the number of people killed and seriously injured on Derbyshire’s roads.

A spokesperson for CREST said: “There will be enforcement at other locations throughout Derbyshire and Derby City. Remember, we can’t be everywhere, but we will be somewhere.

“For your protection and other road users, please drive within the speed limit, and to the road and weather conditions.”
