Full list of Nottingham bus timetable changes as NCT to amend 18 services

Several bus services provided by Nottingham City Transport (NCT) will have their timetables amended in one week’s time.

The changes will come into force from Sunday, January 11, and will affect a total of 18 services on the operator’s various lines.

This will include the Green, Lilac, Pink, Blue, Red, Turquoise and Purple lines.

A statement from NCT reads: “We regularly review our network to reflect passenger levels and will be making changes to several services from Sunday 11th January 2026.”

Green 5, 6, 8 and 9 will operate on a revised Monday to Friday late afternoon timetable, between 5 and 7pm, while Green 11 passengers will see a revised Monday to Saturday timetable.

This means buses between City and Lady Bay every 30 minutes, while Buses to Water Sports Centre and Cropwell Bishop will remain every hour.

Lilac 24 will have operate on a revised Monday to Friday afternoon timetable between 2pm and 5.30pm.

Lilac Pathfinder 26 and N26 will have a revised Monday to Saturday timetable after 8pm for buses towards Nottingham, with the N26 operating on Saturday nights only due to “very low” usage in the week.

Pink 28 will have a revised Monday to Saturday daytime timetable but basic frequencies will remain unchanged.

The timing point at Canning Circus for buses towards City will be moved to the previous stop called Highurst Street.

Pink 30 will also operate on a revised Monday to Saturday timetable, with the core 20-minute frequency extended later on Monday to Fridays.

Blue 39 will operate on a revised Monday to Saturday daytime timetable, with buses every 10-12 minutes.

While Red 45’s basic frequencies will remain unchanged, the service will operate on a revised timetable on all days from January 11.

Turquoise 77 will have buses running every 7-12 minutes as the service will operate on a revised Monday to Friday daytime timetable.

Turquoise 79/A will have a revised Monday to Friday timetable between 7.45am and 9.30am for buses towards City.

Purple 87 and 88 will have a revised Saturday timetable, with buses running every 30 minutes during the day.

Purple 89 will operate on a revised Saturday daytime timetable, with basic frequencies unchanged.
