Having won the Ulster title in their 100th year with a thrilling 3015 to 0-19 win over Cuchulainn’s of Cavan, the Derry men now have their sights on lining out in Croke Park next weekend.

Former Derry and Irish League star Eoin Bradley, who recently celebrated his 42nd birthday, will make a cameo appearance at some stage having kicked 1-3 in the provincial final.

Of course, they’ll be aware that the Connacht champions defeated the Derry and Ulster champions in last yea’s All-Ireland final when Crossmolina edged out Ballinderry.

Strokestown hit four goals in their Connacht IFC win over Kilmeena in Castlebar so today’s game could develop into a high-scoring shootout in Ballyshannon.
