Our thoughts are with those who have lost a loved one
Owen John Tapper
Announcing the passing of a loved one in local news media is a long standing tradition and we are proud of the trust placed in us to make these important announcements. Every notice published to our newspaper and news site also appears on funeral-notices.co.uk – the UK’s number one site for death notices and memoriams.
Every notice remains online forever providing friends and families with a lifelong tribute to their loved one, a safe place online to share memories, add tributes, photographs and make donations in memory. Each week we pay tribute to the loved ones remembered in our area with a funeral notice and online tribute page.
To read the latest announcements and add tributes to those from our area who have passed away, or to create a funeral notice yourself, click here. Alternatively, you can create a notice by calling our helpful team on 01482 908084.

One year has passed since you were gone, Yet in my heart, your love lives on. The days feel heavy, the nights still long, But your spirit remains, steady and strong. I see you in the morning skies, In gentle stars and butterflies. Your laughter echoes, soft and clear, A guiding light that keeps me near. Though sorrow lingers, and tears still fall, Your kindness surrounds me, through it all. You taught me courage, hope, and grace, And left your warmth in every place. Forever my mum, my dearest friend, A bond unbroken, it will not end. Though time moves forward, love will stay, Carried within me, day by day. So today I honour, with pride and pain, The beautiful soul whose love remains. Forever remembered, forever adored, Your legacy shines, your love is restored. A part of me went with you Mum. Tiamo per Sempre xxx From your Daughter Susan and Mario Son Steve and Sharon xxx
