A man has been accused of attempted murder following an alleged assault in a town centre on New Year’s Eve.
- 25 year old Aiden Tyler has been charged with attempted murder. The accused has also been charged with violent offences relating to other victims.
- Nottinghamshire Police stated: “A suspect has been charged with attempted murder following an assault in Mansfield. Police were called to Market Place at 4.47pm on New Year’s Eve (Wednesday) after the victim, a man in his thirties, was assaulted in the street. He remains in a serious condition in hospital.”
- Tyler, of no fixed address, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (Friday) and was remanded into custody. He is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on January 30.”
