A man has suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash on Ladysmith Road, Grimsby. The 60-year-old was taken to hospital after the red Peugeot he was driving collided with a parked car on Saturday afternoon.
Humberside Police said: “At around 2.30pm it was reported a red Peugeot was travelling down Ladysmith Road before colliding with a parked blue Vauxhall. Emergency services attended and the driver, a 60-year-old man, was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are thought to be life threatening at this time.
“Officers would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident, in particular the driver of a silver van that was believed to have assisted at the scene to come forward. If anyone witnessed the incident, or has any information including CCTV or dashcam footage, please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 236 of 3 January.”
