Met Office forecast for Coventry and Warwickshire as parts of Midlands wake up to snow

The Met Office has issued its forecast for Coventry and Warwickshire this weekend

It’s going to be another cold day in Coventry as parts of Warwickshire wake up to snow

Parts of the Midlands have woken up to snow this morning – with the Met Office warning of further wintry showers throughout the weekend.

Temperatures have plunged over the last few days and it’s not expected to get any warmer than 2 degrees in Coventry today (Saturday).

But with chilly winds, it will feel much colder, as cold as -7 says the Met Office.

There’s a small chance of further wintry showers in Coventry today and tomorrow, but it’s looking more likely to be snow in Warwickshire.

Both Warwick and Stratford forecasts warn of a possibility of snow – although this is relatively unlikely as it’s expected to be sunny for much of the day.

Temperatures will be just as cold as in Coventry, at a maximum of 2 degrees Celsius.

The forecast for the West Midlands region states it will be ‘often sunny this weekend, but cold, with severe overnight frosts’.
