Police have confirmed a missing 26-year-old man has now been found.
He was last seen at 2.25am on Sunday, January 4, in Whinney Heys Road. The 26-year-old, who has links to Blackpool and Chorley, was also reportedly seen in the South Promenade area this morning (Sunday) at around 9.30am.
He was described as being 5ft 10in tall, of average build, with light brown hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing grey joggers and a black shiny jacket.
Police put out an appeal on Sunday morning and urged anyone with information to contact them on 999.
In an update on Sunday afternoon, officers confirmed he had been found.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: “He has now been found safe and well. Thank you for your help.”
