Crime thriller His and Hers is set to be the next binge-worthy Netflix sensation, dropping in just days.

Adapted from a bestselling book, the series has already garnered glowing praise and drawn comparisons to Harlan Coben’s work, whose novels have spawned multiple streaming hits.

In fact, the most recent adaptation, Run Away starring James Nesbitt and Ruth Jones, could quickly fade into the background once His and Hers lands on the platform.

Good Housekeeping boldly proclaimed “move over Harlan Coben, His and Hers is the ‘compulsive’ thriller series with an ‘off the scale’ twist factor” in their enthusiastic preview of the gripping drama.

As Netflix prepares to launch 2026 with another captivating thriller, here’s what we know so far about the upcoming series, reports the Mirror.

What is His and Hers about?

His and Hers is a six-episode limited series created and penned by William Oldroyd, with Dee Johnson acting as showrunner.

Drawing from Alice Feeney’s 2020 novel of the same name, the show centers on two intertwined characters both probing the same horrific murder in a small Georgia town.

Anna is a reclusive journalist attempting to revive her career by covering a savage killing. Detective Jack Harper is spearheading the police probe, and their fascinating ties to both the crime and each other gradually emerge as the story progresses.

The plot summary reveals: “Set in the sweltering heat of Atlanta, Anna lives in haunting reclusivity, fading away from her friends and career as a news anchor.

“But when she overhears about a murder in Dahlonega – the sleepy town where she grew up – Anna is snapped back to life, pouncing on the case and searching for answers.

“Detective Jack Harper is strangely suspicious of her involvement, chasing her into the crosshairs of his own investigation. There are two sides to every story: His and Hers, which means someone is always lying.”
