Family members have left loving messages this week to relatives who have recently passed away
Rossendale’s loved and lost
Tributes have been left this week to remember loved ones in Rossendale who have passed away over the Christmas period.
Announcing the death of a family member has been a time-honoured tradition for family and loved ones. We have gathered the messages posted this week in one place.
To see the full list of death notices, in memoriams, and birthday memoriams, then please visit the Rossendale section in Funeral Notices online. You can search by names, date range, and filter by time or alphabetically.
Here is a list of those who have appeared over the last week. Our thoughts go out to all friends, family and loved ones.
You can leave your tributes in the comments below.
Glenys Kirby
Glenys Kirby
Mrs Glenys Kirby, born in Rossendale on September 7, 1942, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
She was a devoted mother to Colette and Mark, a cherished mother-in-law to Janet, and a much-loved Nan to her three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of whom adored her.
Glenys was a kind, caring woman who put her family at the heart of everything she did. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Stephen.
Glenys’ funeral service will take place at St Mary’s Church, Haslingden, at 1pm on Tuesday, January 7, followed by Accrington Crematorium.
All are welcome to join the family afterwards at IDL, Haslingden, to celebrate Glenys’ life.
Forever in our hearts and never forgotten.
