The XMiles half marathon and 10K retuned this weekend to Southport’s shoreline and thousands of you took part, despite the freezing temperatures and snowfall that covered Merseyside this morning (Sunday).
It was an early start for all runners who made their way along the picturesque route with views of the coast, the attractions at Adventure Coast, the Marine Lake and Kings Gardens.
Sergio Aguiar, dad of Alice, who was murdered in the Southport mass stabbing on July 29, 2024, was running in memory of his daughter for Alice’s WonderDance Foundation.
