Teen, 19, rushed to hospital after New Year’s Day stabbing in Cricklewood

A teenager has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed on New Year’s Day. The 19-year-old was found on Olive Road, Cricklewood at around 11.37pm on January 1.

The person responsible still remains at large. Police are continuing to carry out their enquiries into the stabbing. The young man was rushed to hospital from the scene, where his injuries were assessed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called to a report of a stabbing on Olive Road, Cricklewood at 23:37hrs on Thursday, 1 January.

“A man, aged 19, was found with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where he was assessed to have non-life-threatening or life-changing injuries.

“No arrests have been made at this early stage of the investigation and enquiries are ongoing.”
