Two on motorcycle injured in Philadelphia hit-and-run crash – NBC10 Philadelphia

Philadelphia police are searching for a driver who they said fled the scene after striking a motorcycle carrying two people early Saturday morning.

According to investigators, the hit-and-run happened just after 2 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, along Torresdale Avenue near Comly Street.

A preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown black vehicle was traveling southbound on Torresdale Avenue when it made contact with a green Kawasaki motorcycle, police said. The black vehicle then fled the scene southbound on Torrsedale Avenue.

Police said the driver and the passenger of the motorcycle were transported to a nearby hospital by medic. The driver is listed in crticial condition, and the passenger was treated for a broken foot.

At the scene, police said investigators recovered car parts from a black Chrysler; the model is unknown.
