Police have issued an update to an investigation following an alleged attack at a Blackpool nightclub.
In December, Blackpool Police issued a CCTV appeal after a teenager was attacked with a glass bottle at a nightclub. The assault took place at Trinity Blackpool between 2.30am and 3am on October 31.
Blackpool Police said the victim, in her late teens, suffered an injury to her lip. Subsequent enquiries revealed she had been struck with a glass bottle.
Police in Blackpool have now issued an update in which they confirmed the woman shown in CCTV images has been identified.
Blackpool Police posted on Facebook: “We asked for your help to identify a woman we wanted to speak to in connection with our investigation into an assault in Trilogy night club on 31st October.
“We have now identified this person and she will be spoken to in due course. Thank you for your help.”
