Urgent appeal issued to find missing boy – call 999 if you see him

Philip is missing from home

People are being urged to dial 999 if they see a missing boy.

Lancashire Police say Philip, who has links to Accrington and Burnley, was last seen in the Merseyside area at 3pm on Saturday (January 3).

His age and surname have not been released.

Philip is described as being around 5ft 7/8ins tall, of skinny build, with auburn hair in a ‘mullet style that flicks out at the end’.

Officers have issued a photo of Philip alongside an urgent appeal to find him and say they are ‘really concerned about his welfare’.

Anyone who sees Philip or has information on his whereabouts is urged to come forward as soon as possible.

Hyndburn Police posted on Facebook last night saying: “This is Philip and he is currently missing from home.

“We’re really concerned about his welfare and so we’re asking for your help to bring him home.

“Philip was last seen in the Merseyside area at 15:00 pm on 03/01/2026.

“He is around 5ft 7/8, skinny build, with auburn hair, mullet style that flicks out at the end

“He is known to have links to Accrington and Burnley.

“If you have any information or you think you’ve seen philip, please get in touch with us by calling 999 and quoting log number LC-20260104-0094 and please share this post.”
