Rosie Jones has snubbed big-money offers to do reality TV shows, such as Love Island and Celebrity Big Brother. The comic revealed that she is too busy doing stand-up gigs, presenting and acting to sign up for them.

The comedian, who lives with cerebral palsy, said that she is inundated with calls to go on the major hit shows: “Every year I get the call up to do reality shows. I think I’ve been asked to all the big ones now.

“And secondly, while I love watching them, I don’t think they’re right for me.” Rosie admits she could be convinced to give one a go if the offer is right.

There are a few shows she’d clear her diary for. She said: “One show I would do is Race Across The World.

“I would love to do that show. And I’d do The Celebrity Traitors, of course.

“They’re the two shows I would do. So with reality TV shows, it’s a case of ‘never say never.

“One day you might see me in a hat in the jungle or with the Glitterball under my arm.” Rosie will be back on the box on a new series of her panel show Out Of Order; it kicks off tomorrow (January 5) at 9pm on Comedy Central UK.

It comes after Rosie was subjected to a cruel attack at the hands of homophobes, which she added that she thought was “ableist”. She revealed that while travelling on a train with good pal Lee Peart when she was mocked by passengers.
