These dogs and cats looking for loving new owners to cuddle up to in time for Christmas.

Raven’s Rescue currently has five four-legged friends who are ready for their forever homes.

The charity, which is based in Dudley, has been helping unwanted and neglected animals since 2012.

The rescue, founded by Sarah Price, also offers support to those whose find themselves unable to keep their much-loved pets due to a change in circumstance.

Upon arrival at Raven’s Rescue, all animals receive the appropriate medical attention.

They are also behaviourally assessed when they go to their foster homes.

All of the animals under the rescue’s wing were vaccinated, treated for parasites, neutered and microchipped before being put up for adoption when they are deemed ready.

Below you’ll find some of the dogs and cats currently in Raven’s care.

Could you give any of them the forever home they’ve been looking for?

Ben

Ben

Ben will need time and patience from a new owner while he adjusts to a new home as he’s a nervous boy who takes time to trust people.

But once settled, the 13-year-old loves nothing better than to hear ‘walkies’ and will bark to ask for a treat.

Ben enjoys travelling by car and was also said to ‘spotlessly clean in the home’.

He’d need to be in an adult-only home with no other pets or children.

Mali and Bailey

Mali and Bailey

Mali is a ‘low-maintenance girl’ who has spent most of her life with her feline companion Bailey – who she would need to be rehomed with.

The nine-year-old golden retriever likes to spend her days lying on a rug or in a warm, sunny spot.

Raven’s said she was “loving” and enjoyed “fuss and attention” and was “happy pottering around the house and garden”.

Mali will need a home that is understanding of her anxieties regarding car travel and will continue to support her with her health condition.

It’s thought she would benefit from someone who is home for most of the day to spend with her.

Bailey, 12, was “quite active and spritely for her age” and was said to be “very affectionate when she wants to be”.

Like Mali, she enjoyed basking in the sunshine, but she also liked to spend her time sitting in the window.

Bailey is happy as an indoor cat and shows little desire to go outside.

She has always lived with Mali and they are a bonded pair.

Prospective new owners should be aware Bailey does have a health condition which would need to be discussed with Raven’s.

Draco

Draco

Draco is a confident little boy who likes to explore and play with toys.

He is not a lap cat but is beginning to enjoy a cuddle and likes human company.

Raven’s said Draco would be able to adapt to being an only cat or living with another cat.

Flynn

Flynn

This male kitten was one of five born on June 19, 2025.

He was from a litter of playful and healthy kittens who “love everything and everyone”.

Anyone who thinks they could be a good fit for one of the animals was urged to fill out an enquiry form on the Raven’s website – home-checks and donation apply.
